Groundhog day! In honor of the groundhog seeing his shadow and us having 7 more weeks of winter (or really for winter to start here), is my image of the day- some very large icicles!

I had no idea what water chestnuts looked like before these... how cool!  These are fresh organic, delicious water chestnuts.

A perfect day for a little paragliding at the resort.  Of course, not me... but someone else is finding it fun!  And i'm sure freezing!!!

So the weatherman called for 6 inches of snow! We barely received 1 inch and its beautiful outside!

The best way to describe today is to show you the photograph.  It's snowing! And there's no visibility outside.

Since it's sleeting outside, I thought it would be a good time to try and use up some of the oranges and pomegranates I had around the house... here's the final product! Pomegranate, Orange and Apple Chutney courtesy of my awesome Vitamix!

A beautiful day outside with 25" inches of new snow! Loving life...

Day 19... and at least 19" of Snow!

Snowman type of day with this wet, heavy snow! My lovely dog, Soda helped build this and then climbed up the side of the snow man and started digging… chewed the stick arms and spread them around the snow and the tried to jump up to reach the carrot.  No luck on the carrot yet!!

Snowy day out in the field.  55" of snow expected over the next few days!  Wahoo!
