Today's smoothie is trying to use up some of the ingredients I have at home that are close to their expiration. Bananas are great for this as they turn brown and are not very appetizing on their own, but are perfect when blended! Three smoothies a week are actually a lot for me. I'm not someone who likes to eat the same thing everyday, as I like to mix it up. I also feel that it's better for your metabolism and body to vary what you eat. Although, I would be okay eating greek yogurt every day for a few days, I cannot eat it for weeks or months at a time. My body tells me what it needs and sometimes it craves granola, sometimes oatmeal, sometimes eggs, sometimes yogurt and sometimes smoothies. For the sake of this blog, i'm trying to do some more smoothies, hence why three are a lot for me! If I have the fruit and vegetables around the house, smoothies will be made!
Today's smoothie:
1- Organic Banana
2- Kiwi's, peeled
1- Apple, peeled
